b. Automatically Collected Information

When you use PowerPresent AI, we may automatically collect:

• Device and browser information (type, version, operating system).
• IP address and approximate location.
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent).
• Cookies and analytics data, used to improve the product and to measure our ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide, personalize, and improve our Services.
• Generate and deliver AI-created presentations.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Communicate important updates or support information.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent use.
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience and performance.
• Measure whether our advertising reaches the right people.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Handle Uploaded Content

• The documents, templates, or text you upload are processed securely to generate your presentations.
• Your uploaded files and presentations are never used to train AI models.
• You can delete your uploaded files and presentations anytime from your dashboard.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share limited information only when necessary:

• Payment Processing: With Stripe, which handles card details directly. We never see or store your full card number.
• Accounts and Sign-in: With Clerk, which manages authentication and your login credentials.
• Analytics: When usage analytics is enabled, PostHog EU measures visits, signups, creation, editing, output and purchases across our website and app. A secure first-party identity cookie is shared across our production subdomains for 90 days; we remember your versioned preference for 180 days. After sign-in, we associate consenting activity with your account ID. We send campaign fields, referrer hostname, page path, locale, country, feature outcomes and entitlements, but no raw query strings, emails, prompts, document content, filenames or raw errors. Commercial joins use one-way protected keys. Autocapture and session replay are disabled. Rejecting or withdrawing in Cookie preferences or the account analytics controls clears analytics storage and stops browser and backend PostHog events, including queued deliveries; pre-consent activity is never replayed. Withdrawal does not erase previously delivered data; use the existing deletion request process for that. Convex and Stripe operational records remain independent. Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on the website follow the separate advertising-measurement preference; Clarity masks typed input. Choosing Essential only disables Clarity while keeping usage analytics and advertising measurement enabled. You can change your choice in Cookie preferences.
• Advertising Measurement: With Google Ads. If you reach us from one of our ads, Google supplies a click identifier which we keep in your browser for up to 90 days and attach to a resulting purchase, so that Google can attribute the sale to the ad. It is not used to build a profile of you.
• Email: With Brevo, which delivers messages you send through our contact and newsletter forms.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal request.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. The advertising data described above is shared only to measure the performance of our own campaigns.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and uploaded files only as long as necessary to provide our Services or comply with legal obligations.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL).
• Access controls and authentication.
• Regular monitoring and vulnerability assessments.

While we take every precaution to safeguard your data, no online service is completely risk-free.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Essential site functionality and keeping you signed in.
• Remembering your preferences, including your answer to the cookie banner.
• Measuring how the site is used, and measuring whether our ads lead to a purchase.

On your first visit we ask whether to allow this. Choosing Deny stops the Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity tags from loading and discards our own usage measurement. Essential functionality is not affected either way, and our Vercel analytics sets no cookies at all. This choice governs cookies. Product analytics in the app sets none, so it is not covered either way — to object to that, use the Share usage analytics switch in your account menu.

Your answer is remembered in your browser rather than in a cookie, and it travels with you to the app at app.powerpresent.ai so that one choice covers both. To change it, select Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page and answer again. You can also block cookies through your browser settings at any time.
